IHA Ornament Fundraiser
We need 2 more designs to complete our 3 packets of 4 designs each, so we can get them
put up for sale on the Pinecraft website. We have also opened up future designs to include
other holidays and occasions, but we really need the last 2 designs so we can get the first 3 packets put up for sale.

Goal: To provide a revenue stream for Idaho Heritage Artists (IHA) to pay for traveling teachers
and other club expenses, and to promote our love of decorative painting.
Overview: Members of IHA are asked to design ornaments using a 2”x4” rounded top surface
(provided). The completed ornaments should be brought in by the October meeting, and the
best 12 ornaments will be compiled into an e-pattern packet that will be sold on our website
using PayPal. Once purchase is complete, the e-pattern packet would be available for down-
load by the purchaser. Our first pattern packet will be a test run to see if we can generate
enough income to make it work. The packet would yield approximately $10 (per packet) to the
club.
We want to keep the palette simple and consistent throughout the packet. We have chosen
DecoArt Americana paints. We ask that you include either 24K Gold or Sterling Silver Extreme
Sheen in your design. It can be as simple as using it on the side of the tag if it does not work in
your design. We have chosen the following colors to use for the project:
Lamp Black, Snow White, Mistletoe Green
Soft Black, Sunset Gold, Holly Green
Slate Grey, Honey Brown, Evergreen
Twilight, Moon Yellow, Crimson Red
Stormy, Warm Sunset, Alizarin Crimson
Sapphire, Raw Sienna, Fiery Red Neon
Payne’s Grey, Burnt Umber, Warm Beige
NOTE: Not all colors need to be used!
The directions/instructions for painting your ornament should only be one page. We will put a
color photo of the ornament along with your name/email and the directions on the front page.
Any additional instructions along with the line drawing will be on the back. We have someone
that will type the instructions for you, if needed.
As discussed, we are working to partner with Pinecraft, Inc. and Deco Art. We will work on
partnering with other websites and advertising on Facebook.
